“The Mook” fishing lure that started it all.

Tried and thoroughly tested, Burt Umstead has been constantly improving The Mook Lure for over 5 years to find the best shape, designs, and sound sensitvity. The Mook Lure has a unique design with two ‘Clickerz’ above the hook that clash together creating an attention-grabbing noise for the fish. The sound simulates the clicking of Crayfish. This lure's sound combined with the bold color has been encouraging strong strikes from fish. 

The Mook Lure is the perfect fishing companion for every level of angler. Each lure has been hand assembled to perfection making the lure an essential and reliable tool!

The Mook lure is 1.5” long and weighs  1/5 oz or 6 grams. Perfect for trolling and light line casting. Color is only painted on front of spoon with a solid metal on back making for extra flash.

Used Mook Lures on the Smith River today. WOW! 🤩 Watched my lady literally first cast have a steelhead smash the lure! Then I got one second cast. Stopped working the mook but left it unattended just off the bottom while fishing a 2nd pole

Stopped working the mook but left it unattended just off the bottom while fishing a 2nd pole. A large 2+ lb brown trout bit it hard to where I dropped my 2nd pole. He threw the hook cause I didn't have the pole. This thing does work

Just love them

Since getting my lures, fishing on the troll has been fantastic. I have only used them up in Big Bear Lake but the trout can't resist them. Highly recommended.

The Mook is for Real!!!

The Mook exceeded my expectations. I caught a nice five pound Rainbow at Lundy Lake as well as a six pound Rainbow at Lower Twins Lake.
